Softball Recap: McLeod Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for McLeod's offense. They came up short against the Gilmer Buckeyes on Thursday, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Longhorns were not able to get on the board.

McLeod's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Gilmer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-2.

McLeod didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Paris on the 28th. As for Gilmer, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Atlanta on the 27th.
