Preview: Memorial vs. Independence
The Memorial Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Independence Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
For the first time this season, Memorial was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Walnut Grove could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, Independence's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. Their tough 4-0 loss to Liberty might stick with them for a while.
Memorial's draw makes their record 4-6-1 on the season. As for Independence, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
