Basketball Recap: Houlka Comes Up Short

Houlka and Baldwyn squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Houlka had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 68-33 loss at the hands of the Baldwyn Bearcats. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Donnie Orgeron was Houlka's leading scorer, having posted six points. Elijah Foster held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Houlka's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Baldwyn, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Houlka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baldwyn, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bearcats challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Baldwyn has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three games.
