Soccer Recap: Wharton Comes Up Short

Wharton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Rice Consolidated Raiders. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Wharton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Rice Consolidated, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Wharton has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against Bay City on the 4th. As for Rice Consolidated, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Palacios on the 4th.
