Volleyball Recap: Harlem Bulldogs vs. Burke County Bears
After flying high against Hephzibah last Thursday, Harlem came back down to earth. The Harlem Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Burke County Bears on Tuesday. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13.
Harlem's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Burke County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlem will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Cross Creek at 6:00 p.m. As for Burke County, they will venture away from home to square off against Davidson Fine Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
