Volleyball Recap: Mountain Crest Gets the Win

Mountain Crest saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Kearns Cougars by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Weston May paced Mountain Crest's offense, picking up seven kills. May got some help from Breckan Jessup and his 14 assists. Brogan Ritchie and Brixton Whoolery kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Mountain Crest's win bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Kearns, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Mountain Crest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fremont on the 18th. As for Kearns, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against American Heritage on the 18th.
