Baseball Recap: Fort Wayne Snider Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

While Fort Wayne Snider didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cadets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

On the hitting side, Fort Wayne Snider let Brandon Logan and Trevor Jarvis run wild. Logan got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Jarvis went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Jarvis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Snavely, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Fort Wayne Snider kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Fort Wayne Snider pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
