Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 59-44 bruising from the Clearwater Fightin' Tigers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fightin' Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Clearwater, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Bloomfield has already played their next game, a 64-44 defeat against Bell City on the 4th. As for Clearwater, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winona at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th.
