Football Recap: Oostburg Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Oostburg's offense. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Flying Dutchmen have lost by exactly 35 points.

Landen Fischer threw for 66 yards on four of eight attempts. Camren Weavers was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Oostburg and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Greenfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Oostburg has already played their next contest, a 50-6 victory against Random Lake/Ozaukee on the 12th. As for Greenfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-23 win against Milwaukee Lutheran on the 11th.
