The Panthers fell just short of the Willow Springs Bears by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Mountain Grove's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Willow Springs, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-10.
