Bell posted their closest victory since March 21, 2025 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roosevelt Roughriders, sneaking past 12-10. That's more bragging rights for the Griffins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Zuri Smith was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Elier Orasma, who earned two RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Bell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bell will challenge rival Coolidge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt is set to take on their familiar foe School Without Walls at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
