Volleyball Recap: Golden Sierra Falls to Colfax in First Game of Season

Golden Sierra unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Colfax Falcons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden Sierra will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on September 10. As for Colfax, they will venture away from home to square off against Placer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
