Perry and Veterans are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2019, but likely not for long. The Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Warhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Veterans likes a good challenge.

Perry's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Warner Robins. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Perry's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Warner Robins are ranked 202nd).

Meanwhile, Veterans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lee County 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Veterans in their matchups with Lee County: they've now won five in a row.

Perry's record now sits at 9-3. As for Veterans, their record is now 10-6.

Perry couldn't quite get it done against Veterans when the teams last played back in February as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
