Softball Recap: Fall Creek Comes Up Short

Fall Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights.

Fall Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fall Creek will square off against Neillsville/Granton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beloit Memorial, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Beloit Memorial's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
