Soccer Recap: Hammondsport Takes a Loss

Hammondsport fought the good fight in their overtime match against Campbell-Savona on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for Hammondsport in their meetings with Campbell-Savona: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hammondsport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Campbell-Savona, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Hammondsport and Campbell-Savona will both be playing Canisteo-Greenwood the next time they take the pitch. The Panthers will host the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lakers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
