The Bethel Bees will challenge the Tecumseh Arrows at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bethel is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Bethel is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Tippecanoe just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Red Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bees have suffered since April 6, 2024.

Bethel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Barker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was Barker's first of the season.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Tecumseh nor Northwestern made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Arrows walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Arrows in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Tecumseh, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
