Softball Recap: Skyview Storm vs. Union Titans
Skyview came tearing into Monday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Union Titans with a sharp 17-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 on Thursday.
Maddie Milhorn was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
