Baseball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Takes a Loss

Bishop Fenwick lost against St. Mary back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Crusaders have suffered against the Spartans since April 5, 2022.

Bishop Fenwick has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for St. Mary's, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

While Bishop Fenwick had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
