Baseball Recap: San Jacinto Comes Up Short

San Jacinto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Tahquitz Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Wednesday.

San Jacinto saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Bonilla, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

San Jacinto's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Tahquitz, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

San Jacinto wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-5 victory against Pacific Ridge on the 31st. As for Tahquitz, they will face off against Citrus Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
