Volleyball Recap: Franklin Community Finds Playoff Glory Versus Columbus East

Franklin Community extended their postseason success on Saturday against Columbus East. They put the hurt on the Olympians with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Grizzly Cubs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jackson Clements was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 13 digs and two aces. What's more, he posted three assists, the most he's had since back in April.

Franklin Community has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season. As for Columbus East, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-16 record.

Franklin Community has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Columbus North on the 17th. Columbus East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
