If Mercy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lyman Hall on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Montville Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mercy actually scored more points across those five sets (106-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 19-25, 15-13.

When it comes to explaining why Mercy lost, don't look at Kacy Dickson. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and three assists. Dickson has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Ciena Feragne was a one-woman wrecking crew For Montville. as she had 26 digs and three assists. Those 26 digs gave Feragne a new career-high.

Mercy's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Montville, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
