Softball Recap: Winters Mill Comes Up Short

Winters Mill and Century squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Winters Mill had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 9-0. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Winters Mill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashley Hennigan, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Winters Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Century, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Winters Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Century, they will take on Glenelg on Monday.
