Basketball Recap: Nipomo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Nipomo's tournament run continued when they took on Central Valley Christian on Friday. The Titans were beaten by the Cavaliers 75-19. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Leading Central Valley Christian to victory were Carter Hiemstra and Jayden Bergman. Hiemstra shot 62% from the field to rack up 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Bergman went 9-for-19 en route to 21 points and five assists. That's the most assists Bergman has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Jaaron Dodson, who scored 12 points.

Nipomo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Central Valley Christian, their record now sits at 8-2.

Coincidentally, Nipomo and Central Valley Christian will both be playing Ridgeview the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Wolf Pack at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cavaliers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
