Volleyball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Takes a Loss

Metro-East Lutheran lost against Granite City back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Metro-East Lutheran took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Granite City. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Metro-East Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Granite City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Metro-East Lutheran will head out on the road to square off against Father McGivney Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Father McGivney Catholic has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Granite City, they will welcome Bayless at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
