Baseball Recap: Red Jacket's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Red Jacket had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Harley Allendale Columbia Wolves 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in April.

Anderson Zepkowski was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Red Jacket is undefeated when Zepkowski posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was A Tripp, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Red Jacket was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Red Jacket's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Harley Allendale Columbia, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
