Etna is 9-1 against Trinity since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will head out to face off against the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Etna and 11 for Trinity dating back to last season.

Etna's tournament run continued when they took on Enterprise on Wednesday. The Lions fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2.

Jacob Holland was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.

Meanwhile, Trinity came up short against Weed last Friday, falling 14-1.

Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tom Ritchey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Etna, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Everything went Etna's way against Trinity in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Etna made off with an 18-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
