Volleyball Game Preview: Malcolm Clippers vs. Platteview Trojans

The Malcolm Clippers are taking a road trip to square off against the Platteview Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Malcolm will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Monday, Malcolm made easy work of Nebraska City and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Malcolm took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-14, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Platteview got the win against Plattsmouth on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.

Malcolm's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Platteview, their win bumped their record up to 23-4.

Malcolm was able to grind out a solid victory over Platteview in their previous matchup on Saturday, winning 3-1. Do the Clippers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
