Basketball Game Preview: Forge Christian Fury vs. Peak to Peak Pumas

Forge Christian is 10-0 against Peak to Peak since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Forge Christian Fury will head out to square off against the Peak to Peak Pumas at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Forge Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Last Thursday, Forge Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Eagle Ridge Academy 76-39. The Fury have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 24 points or more this season.

Owen Hovis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 14 en route to 29 points and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. Jakan Sederwall was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.

Forge Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Peak to Peak's undefeated season came to an end after ten games on Saturday. They fell to Thornton 44-40. The loss put an end to the Pumas' undefeated start to the season.

Forge Christian pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Peak to Peak, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-1.

Forge Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Peak to Peak in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 59-54 victory.
