Soccer Game Preview: Bethesda Christian vs. Horizon Christian

The Bethesda Christian Patriots will take on Horizon Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bethesda Christian is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Covenant Christian just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Bethesda Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Covenant Christian are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Horizon Christian managed to keep up with Colonial Christian until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Horizon Christian lost 4-1 to Colonial Christian. Horizon Christian's defeat didn't just snap their winning streak: it also ended the team's undefeated season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Horizon Christian fell to 2-1. As for Bethesda Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
