Volleyball Recap: Cummings Takes a Loss

The Cummings Cavaliers came up short against the Person Rockets on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-6, 25-3.

Person found their leader in sophomore Ragan Ward, who had seven aces and four assists. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Ward. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Hurdle, who had 15 aces and one assist.

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Person, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cummings will face off against rival Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Person is set to challenge their familiar foe Williams at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
