Jackson Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 27-13 victory over the Concord Christian Lions on Friday.

Jackson Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eli Smith led the charge by rushing for 70 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 84 yards and one TD. Kingston Robinson was another key player, gaining 86 total yards and a touchdown.

Jackson Christian's record now sits at 9-2. As for Concord Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
