Basketball Game Recap: Hurley Tigers vs. School of the Ozarks Patriots

The Hurley Tigers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 54-42 to School of the Ozarks on Tuesday. Hurley has not had much luck with School of the Ozarks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

School of the Ozarks got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lily Todd out in front who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 15 rebounds. Rae Blackwell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for School of the Ozarks, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Hurley will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sarcoxie at 6:00 p.m. As for School of the Ozarks, they will head out on the road to face off against Wheaton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
