Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kingston Berry and Alex Sweetman Lead Antelope to Victory

Antelope's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Cordova Lancers 3-0.

Antelope walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.

Antelope was led to victory by Alex Sweetman and Kingston Berry. Sweetman had 13 assists and three aces, while Berry had eight digs and two assists. Sweetman is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Antelope's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Cordova, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-7.

Coming up, Antelope will take on Vanden in a tournament on Saturday. As for Cordova, they will take on West Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Park will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cordova surely won't give up without a fight.
