            Basketball Recap: North Hills Prep vs. Ranchview Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            North Hills Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took a  blow against the Ranchview Wolves, falling  88-36. While losing is never fun, North Hills Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1316th, while Ranchview is ranked 500th).
 Ranchview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Julian Fredericks, who  went 8 for 12  en route to 23 points and four  steals. That's the most  steals  Fredericks has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kishone Zachariah, who  went 8 of 20  on his way to 22  points in addition to six  rebounds and four  steals.
North Hills Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Ranchview, they pushed their record up to 19-10 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home.
While North Hills Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
