Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 67-57 to the Century Panthers. One positive for the Winhawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Winona's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Century, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-17.

Winona will challenge John Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Century, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Century Panthers duke it out with the Mankato East Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Century is on an eight-game streak of home losses, Mankato East an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
