Brawley's tournament run continued when they took on San Dieguito Academy on Saturday. The Wildcats walked away with a 14-6 win over the Mustangs.

Brawley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayana Montoya and Kaylene Ojeda. Montoya has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times she's played.

Brawley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5-1. As for San Dieguito Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Brawley has already played their next contest, a 41-0 win against Mar Vista on the 23rd. As for San Dieguito Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 33-6 defeat against Imperial on the 23rd.
