Soccer Recap: Ponderosa Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Ponderosa was not quite Highlands Ranch's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Falcons. The defeat continues a trend for Ponderosa in their meetings with Highlands Ranch: they've now lost four in a row.

Ponderosa's goal came courtesy of Caleb Avery, which was the first he's scored this season.

Ponderosa's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Highlands Ranch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-5.

As of now, neither Ponderosa nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
