Volleyball Recap: Crestview Beats Spencerville for Their Sixth Straight Win

Crestview had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Spencerville Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Crestview was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Lydia Grace, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last five contests. Delanie Balliet also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Crestview's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Spencerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Crestview is set to take on their familiar foe Bluffton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Spencerville will square off against rival Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
