Volleyball Game Preview: Deseret Peak Golden Eagles vs. Stansbury Stallions

The Deseret Peak Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Stansbury Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deseret Peak is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Deseret Peak came up short against Mountain Crest and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-27, 25-16, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Stansbury lost 3-0 to Green Canyon on Tuesday. The Stallions have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.

Deseret Peak's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Stansbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Deseret Peak skirted past Stansbury 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
