Recap: Cozad vs. Chase County
After having lost a blowout to Gothenburg in their previous game, Cozad were happy to find some success on Friday. Cozad managed a somewhat close 19-14 win over Chase County. Cozad have a history of success against Chase County, winning their last head-to-head 19-14.
Senior Adam Cole, who accumulated 182 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD, was a major factor in Cozad's success. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Nathan Breon, who racked up 9 tackles.
The victory bumped Cozad's record up to 1-2. The defeat dropped Chase County's record to 1-2.
Cozad will look to defend their home turf next week against Sidney at 7:00 PM. As for Chase County, they will face off against Holdrege.
