Saranac is 10-0 against Plattsburgh since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Saranac Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Plattsburgh Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Saranac is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Peru just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Nighthawks 58-52.

Meanwhile, Plattsburgh was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 44-39 to Northeastern Clinton.

Saranac's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Plattsburgh, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Saranac was able to grind out a solid victory over Plattsburgh in their previous meeting back in January, winning 41-28. Will Saranac repeat their success, or does Plattsburgh have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
