Football Recap: Gilroy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gilroy lost against Silver Creek back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 17-7 to the Raiders. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Silver Creek, rushing for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 133 rushing yards gave Thompson a new career-high.

Gilroy's record is now 1-4. As for Silver Creek, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Gilroy and Silver Creek will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Mustangs are set to face off against their familiar foe Willow Glen at 7:15 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, Silver Creek will challenge rival Pioneer at 7:15 p.m. on the 10th.
