Garner is 9-1 against South Garner since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Trojans will head out to face off against the Titans at 5:00 p.m. South Garner took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Garner, who comes in off a win.

Garner is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Southeast Raleigh 9-0 on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Ava Nobles as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Fuquay - Varina. While losing is never fun, South Garner can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Fuquay - Varina are ranked 108th).

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Garner, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Garner beat South Garner 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
