Custer County extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 6-6 in the process. Everything went their way against the South Park Burros as they made off with a 15-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Taylor Bradford made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Custer County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise.
In other batting news, Custer County got a massive performance out of Colt Moulton, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Moulton has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Wesley Bennett, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Custer County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .725. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .622 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
As for South Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 11 runs.
On South Park's side, Kyle Basnett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Basnett has hit this season. Aiden Wilson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Custer County has already played their next game, a 22-4 win against Cripple Creek-Victor on the 22nd. As for South Park, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-4 defeat against Kiowa on the 23rd.
