Basketball Recap: Brody Rogers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tekamah-Herman over Tri County

Tekamah-Herman came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 59-38 to the Tri County Trojans.

Tekamah-Herman lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brody Rogers, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Jessen Booth, who earned six points.

It was another big night for Drew Siems, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine assists for Tri County. The match was Siems' 23rd in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Kapke, who scored 16 points along with five boards and four steals.

Tekamah-Herman has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. The victory (which was Tri County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-14.

Tekamah-Herman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-23 defeat against Freeman on the 25th.
