Softball Recap: North Summit Comes Up Short

North Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 23-3 to the Skyline Eagles.

SAVANNAH WINDHORST was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

North Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Skyline, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season.

North Summit will take on East in a tournament on Saturday. The Braves will need to watch out since the Leopards have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Skyline, they will be playing at home against Jordan at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Eagles' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Beetdiggers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
