Softball Recap: Brownfield Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dublin on Saturday, Brownfield came back down to earth. The Brownfield Cubs came up short against the Burnet Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 15-1.

Brownfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Burnet, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brownfield will welcome Denver City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burnet, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Faith Academy at 6:00 p.m.
