Soccer Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

If Stonewall Jackson was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Rappahannock County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals fell just short of the Strasburg Rams by a score of 4-3 on Monday. Stonewall Jackson were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Strasburg earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Stonewall Jackson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. As for Strasburg, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
