Baseball Recap: Pinewood Prep Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pinewood Prep proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats 6-4. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Will Watson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Pinewood Prep's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Pinewood Prep will take on Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. Laurence Manning Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
