Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Central Bulldogs vs. Carroll Cougars

Clinton Central hasn't had much luck against Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 8:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Clinton Central came up short against Tri-Central and fell 64-51. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Carroll put another one in the bag last Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to North Newton for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-27 victory. The matchup marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season so far.

Carroll's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.5 points. As for Clinton Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
